Microsoft has released the last Windows 10 optional update KB5005624 (Build 18363.1830) for version 1909 and version 1809. The update fixes many issues including performance, Taskbar, Image editing, News & Interests and many other issues. This update will be the last C release update for Windows 10 version 1909.
IMPORTANT: Starting in October 2021, there will no longer be optional, non-security releases (known as “C” releases) for Windows 10, version 1909. Only cumulative monthly security updates (known as the “B” or Update Tuesday release) will continue for Windows 10, version 1909.
Microsoft has also promised to release this update for other Windows 10 versions 21H1, 20H2, and 2004 soon.
The September 2021 monthly “C” release preview updates are now available for Windows 10, version 1909 and Windows 10, version 1809. The preview update for Windows 10, version 21H1, Windows 10, version 20H2, and Windows 10, version 2004 will be available in the near term.
