Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2021 Notification: Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has started the application process for the recruitment of Engine Driver, Sarang Lascar, Fire Engine Driver, Fireman, Civilian Motor Transport Fitter, Store Keeper, Lascar, and others. Interested candidates can download application forms from the official website - joinindiancoastguard.gov.in. The recruitment was rolled out in the employment newspaper (11 December to 17 December 2021).

The candidates are advised to check details of age, educational qualifications, pay level/matrix, last date for receipt of applications, etc. Will be available in the detailed notification, once released on the official website.

Indian Coast Guard Group C Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:

  • Engine Driver - The candidate must be 10th passed. Certificate of competency as Engine Driver from a recognized Govt. Institute or equivalent
  • Sarang Lascar -  The candidate must be 10th passed and Certificate of competency as Sarang
  • Fire Engine Driver -  The candidate must be10th passed with Possessing Heavy Vehicle driving license with 3 years experience of driving heavy vehicles in any of private or Government Organisation/Institute
  • Fireman - The candidate must be10th passed and should be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties
  • Civilian Motor Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade) -  The candidate must be 10th passed and Must possess a valid driving license for both heavy and light motor vehicles. Should have at least two years of experience in driving motor vehicles. Knowledge of the motor mechanism
  • Motor Transport Fitter -   The candidate must be 10th pr equivalent and 2 years experience in automobile workshop
  • Store Keeper Grade-II -  The candidate must be 12th passed and 1 year's experience in handling stores
  • Spray Painter -  The candidate must be 10th passed with ITI.
  • Motor Transport Mechanic -  The candidate must be 10th or equivalent and 2 years experience in automobile workshop
  • Lascar -  The candidate must be10th passed with 3 years experience in service on Boat
  • Multi Tasking Staff (Peon) -  The candidate must be 10th passed and 2 years experience as office attendant
  • Unskilled Labourer -  The candidate must be 10th passed or ITI

Indian Coast Guard Salary:

  • Engine Driver, Sarang Lascar- PB - 1, 5200-20200/- + Rs. 2400/- (GP) (Pre-Revised) and Revised Pay Matrix - 4 Rs. 25,500/-
  • Fire Engine Driver - PB - 1, 5200-20200/- + Rs. 2000/- (GP) (Pre-Revised) and Revised Pay Matrix - 3, Rs. 21,700/-.
  • Fireman, Civilian Motor Transport Driver, Motor Transport Fitter, Store Keeper  Grade 2, Spray Painter, Motor Transport Mechanic, Lascar, Multi Tasking Staff (Peon)and Unskilled Labour - PB - 1, 5200-20200/- + Rs. 1900/- (GP) (Pre-Revised) and Revised Pay Matrix - 2 Rs. 19900/-

Selection Criteria for ICG Group C  Posts

Candidates will be called for written examination and Trade / Skill Test.
