Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer Bhediya, the third film in Dinesh Vijayan's horror-verse following Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree and Janhvi Kapoor's Roohi has released in theatres starting today, November 25. However, even as the film opens to exceptionally good reviews from critics and fans alike, it has been hit by piracy. BHEDIYA PLOTLINE

The film sees Varun Dhawan's Bhaskar Sharma journeying to the forests of Arunachal Pradesh, intent on mowing down forest land and build a highway right through the middle of the untamed fauna. The forest, incidentally has social, religious and cultural significance for the locals. Despite warnings from the residents, Bhaskar, who has in tow with him, his cousin Guddu (Abhishek Banerjee) and friend Joe (Paalin Kabak), carries on with his plans, only to be bitten by a wolf on a full moon night.

The wolf bite not only gives Bhaskar the innate ability of smell, hearing and an amazing body, but also turns him into a blood thirsty furry wolf. The film, while an out-an-out horror comedy, also addresses societal issues at large.
